For more than twenty years, Sherri and Jason have played the music behind other people's biggest days. They make their home in La Grange, Illinois, and have performed with local and national artists, orchestras and ensembles.
Performing since a very young age, she brings a soloist's polish to every ceremony and celebration, and is a longtime teacher with the Western Springs School of Talent Education.
Self-taught from the moment he could hold a guitar, he brings an easy, expressive touch to every performance.

How much does it cost to book Ten Strings?
Wedding ceremonies start at $1,100, ceremony plus cocktail hour at $1,750 and full-day coverage at $2,900. Corporate events start at $1,500, private parties at $750 and ribbon cuttings at $700. Every event is quoted individually based on date, length and location.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in La Grange, Illinois, and play events throughout Chicagoland. Travel is included within 40 miles of La Grange; longer trips are quoted individually.
Can you play a special song for us?
Yes. Our repertoire runs from classical standards to modern pop, and we can arrange a song that isn't on our list for violin and guitar as a $250 add-on.
Do you bring your own sound equipment?
Yes. Professional amplification is included with every booking.
How do we reserve our date?
A 50% retainer and a signed agreement reserve your date. The balance is due 14 days before the event.
What kinds of events do you play?
Wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions, corporate events and galas, grand openings and ribbon cuttings, and private parties. We've played more than 350 events.
Can you play the ceremony and reception in different locations?
Yes. A second setup location is a $150 add-on.
